On the walking tour, you will receive an impression of Horgen’s long and interesting village life.
You are going to take a few steps on the muleteer’s trail that used to be the most important connection of the major axis from north to south between 1230 and 1830. You will catch sight of the Horgen’s “Birthplace of Democracy“ originating from 1466. You will enter a manufacturer’s mansion, built in the prime of the textile industry that led to a boom and to prosperity. You will hear about the architecture and the construction of our beautiful church with its rococo stuccos, which are among the cultural relics under federal monumental protection.
